🎬 Ted 2 (2025)
👉 Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis, Seth MacFarlane
Some friendships never grow up — and that’s exactly the problem. When John Bennett (Mark Wahlberg) was just a lonely kid, he made a wish that his beloved teddy bear would come to life. Against all odds, the wish came true, and Ted — a wisecracking, foul-mouthed, perpetually stoned plush toy voiced by Seth MacFarlane — became more than a childhood companion. He became John’s inseparable best friend, drinking buddy, and partner in crime.

But decades later, the magic has lost some of its shine. John is an adult now, with bills to pay, a job to keep, and a future to build with his longtime girlfriend Lori (Mila Kunis). Ted, on the other hand, hasn’t matured a day. He still lives for wild parties, inappropriate jokes, and late-night benders that leave John hungover, broke, and one fight closer to losing the woman he loves.

The film picks up as John finds himself stuck in the ultimate tug-of-war: torn between the loyalty of a childhood dream that refuses to grow up and the reality of adulthood that demands change. Can he have both? Or is it finally time to say goodbye to his plush best friend in order to fight for his relationship?
Of course, nothing in John and Ted’s world is that simple. Their attempts to “grow up” lead to even bigger disasters — from botched double dates and courtroom chaos to surreal drug trips and celebrity run-ins that only Ted could make worse. Every attempt at responsibility quickly devolves into the kind of outrageous, NSFW comedy that made the original Ted a global phenomenon.

What makes Ted 2 (2025) more than just a raunchy sequel is its blend of crude, over-the-top humor with genuine heart. Beneath the bong smoke and one-liners lies a surprisingly tender exploration of friendship, love, and what it means to finally face adulthood. Wahlberg grounds the madness with his earnest everyman performance, while Kunis delivers warmth and frustration in equal measure as the girlfriend who refuses to compete with a teddy bear. And once again, Seth MacFarlane steals the show as the most politically incorrect stuffed animal in movie history — a character who says the things no one else would dare, all while looking impossibly cute.

With bigger gags, sharper satire, and a storyline that raises the stakes emotionally and comedically, Ted 2 (2025) is both an outrageous buddy comedy and a surprisingly heartfelt story about growing up — even if one of the friends involved never can. It’s crude, it’s chaotic, and it’s cuddly in the most wrong way possible… exactly what audiences have been waiting for.
