Matlock (2024– ) is an American legal drama television series that airs on CBS, created by Jennie Snyder Urman – the person behind the success of Jane the Virgin. The film is a reimagining of the famous series of the same name that aired from 1986 to 1995, which was associated with the image of lawyer Ben Matlock played by Andy Griffith. However, the new version has a contemporary breath, with more dramatic layers and psychological depth.
Veteran actress Kathy Bates excellently transforms into Madeline “Matty” Matlock, a famous, wealthy and shrewd retired lawyer.
